Flat tire, no spare?
We still roll to you.

Pulled over on the shoulder of I-95 with a shredded tire and an empty trunk? No donut, no inflator kit, no TPMS sensor you trust? You're not stuck — we're a mobile dispatch, not a tow-truck lottery. A tech comes to your pin with a universal temporary spare, plugs the flat if it's safe, or coordinates a flat-bed tow to the shop you choose. Most Miami-Dade pins get a tech in about 15 minutes.

What we'll actually do for you

Why a "no spare" flat is a different animal

Most flat-tire service companies quietly hope you have a spare. Their whole business model — the truck, the jack, the impact wrench — assumes there's a usable donut or full-size spare in the trunk and they just need to swap it out. When there isn't one, a lot of those companies shrug and tell you to "call a tow." That isn't our model.

We carry a small fleet of universal temporary spare tires in the vans (T135/80R17-style donuts and a couple of compact full-size options that fit most non-luxury sedans and small SUVs). We also carry plug kits and a 12V inflator for the cases where plugging is still safe. And we have a working relationship with three flat-bed tow operators across Miami-Dade so if we genuinely can't fix the situation on-site — say, a destroyed sidewall on a low-profile run-flat — we can hand you to a real tow in minutes, not in two hours.

One honest message: If your tire is destroyed on the sidewall, no spare in the trunk, and you drive a low-profile luxury run-flat — we're probably going to coordinate a tow to your shop of choice. We'll still pick up the phone, we'll still pin your location, and we'll still make sure you don't pay a dispatch fee for that coordination.

The three things we can actually do

Here's the full menu, in plain English, so you know what you're asking for when you call.

1. Universal spare swap on-site

The most common no-spare fix. We arrive, jack your car, remove the destroyed tire, mount one of our temporary spares, and torque the lugs to spec. You drive home or to your shop on the donut at a max of 50 mph, and you bring our spare back to us (or we pick it up) within a few days. We charge $40 for the swap labor and place a $40 refundable hold on the spare itself — the hold is returned when the spare comes back, or applied to your purchase if you decide to keep a tire from us.

2. Plug + inflate if the damage is in the tread

If the puncture is in the tread (not the sidewall) and your tire is still holding some air, we can sometimes plug it on-site and top it off with our 12V inflator. This is a much cheaper path, and we only recommend it when the damage is clearly repairable — small nail or screw, nothing on the shoulder, no bulge. Plug + inflate runs $65 weekday / $50 weekend AM / $65 weekend night with a +$10 plug fee. We will not plug a sidewall, ever. We will tell you it's not safe and hand you to a tow instead.

3. Tow coordination (no fee if it's the only option)

If the tire is destroyed beyond a roadside fix and your car can't be safely driven, we'll coordinate a flat-bed tow to the shop you choose — your dealership, your usual tire shop, or the closest one that has your tire in stock. We don't charge a dispatch fee for this handoff. We just want you off the shoulder safely. Tow billing is between you and the tow company.

What's actually in the van

  • Two universal temporary spares (T135/80R17-class) — fits most sedans and small crossovers
  • One compact full-size spare (T155/90R18) for SUVs and crossovers with the larger bolt pattern
  • Hydraulic jack, torque wrench, impact wrench, breaker bar, locking-lug key set
  • Professional plug-and-patch kit (not the $12 one from the gas station)
  • 12V portable inflator with pressure gauge (calibrated monthly)
  • Reflective triangles, hi-vis vest, flashlight — safety gear, not a prop
  • TPMS relearn tool — if your car has tire-pressure sensors, we clear them after the swap so your dash light doesn't stay on for a week

The honest "we can't help" list

There are situations where calling us doesn't change your outcome, and we want you to know them up front.

  • Sidewall blowout — we will not put a temporary spare on a sidewall-damaged wheel, and we will not plug a sidewall. This is a tow.
  • Low-profile run-flat on a luxury car (e.g., 19"+ low-profile run-flat with no spare) — donut won't clear the caliper, run-flat is destroyed, and you need a tire store with your exact spec. Tow.
  • Wheel damage — if the wheel itself is cracked or bent, a swap won't help; you need a wheel-and-tire shop. Tow.
  • Active highway speed — if you're still rolling on a shredded tire at highway speed, pull over completely first. We won't dispatch until you're stopped safely.

What it costs, in dollars

Our pricing is the same whether you have a spare or not. The line items just shift. Here's how it lays out for a typical no-spare scenario on a weekday evening:

  • Spare swap on-site: $40 swap labor + $40 refundable hold on the temporary spare.
  • Plug + inflate (when safe): $65 weekday base + $10 plug fee = $75 total.
  • Tow coordination: no fee from us; tow billing handled by the tow company.
  • Weekend AM: $50 base. Weekend night: $65 base.
  • Add-ons: $15.99 if your system takes freon top-up during a same-stop A/C check (Group B fleet — ask the tech).

Booking runs on a hold-first model. We place a hold on your card before dispatch and only charge once the work is done. There's a $20 credit back on the hold if we miss our ETA by more than 30 minutes through our fault.

Stay safe on the shoulder while you wait

If you're currently on the shoulder of I-95, US-1, the Palmetto, or the Dolphin, here's the short list of what to do in the next five minutes while we drive to you.

  1. Hazard lights on. If it's dark or raining, leave them on until we're loaded and ready to roll.
  2. Get out of the vehicle on the side AWAY from traffic. If you can, step over the barrier or guardrail.
  3. Stay off the paved shoulder as much as possible. Soft ground, grass, sidewalk — anything with distance from the travel lane.
  4. Do not stand behind the car. Florida drivers are not paying attention to your bumper.
  5. If you have reflective triangles, set one behind the vehicle and one ahead. If you don't, the tech will set them when they arrive.
  6. Do not attempt to change the tire yourself if you're on a high-speed shoulder. The math on being struck at 70 mph is not in your favor.

Where we cover this in Miami-Dade

We dispatch from a central Miami hub with multiple units staged across the county. Most of our no-spare calls come in from these corridors:

Frequently asked questions

Will the donut spare fit my car?

Probably, yes — if you drive a sedan, small crossover, or mid-size SUV with a 5-lug bolt pattern between 4.5" and 5.5". It won't fit most low-profile luxury cars (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, low-profile Lexus) or anything with 6-lug or larger wheels. The tech checks fit before lifting the car.

What if the donut doesn't fit and I can't drive?

We coordinate a flat-bed tow to your shop of choice. No dispatch fee from us. We stay on the phone with you until the tow is loaded.

How long can I keep the temporary spare?

The $40 hold covers up to 7 days. After that we charge a $5/day rental. Most people bring it back within 48 hours when their real tire is mounted.

What if I don't have a credit card?

Cash is fine for on-the-spot payment. Zelle and CashApp work too. Hold-first booking requires a card on file.

Do you work on highway shoulders?

Yes — with our full safety setup (cones, hi-vis vest, hazard lights on the van, parked behind your car as a barrier when possible). We do not work during active thunderstorms with lightning.

Will my TPMS light stay on after the swap?

Yes, briefly. We clear the system with our TPMS relearn tool on most cars. On a few European models the light will stay until your shop resets it — we tell you up front if yours is one of those.

What if my tire was already replaced once and there's no spare in the trunk?

You're not alone — this is probably the single most common reason we get called. The previous tire shop kept the spare as a "core" or it was never reinstalled. We bring ours.

Can I ride with the tech to my shop?

If you're in a safe spot and the tech is heading back toward your shop, usually yes. If we're towing, you ride with the tow driver per their policy.
